Held as a unique "tie-free" business event, this is the first Russian tournament to bring together the business and political elite of Russia and other countries, leaders of Russian and international industrial companies, heads of foreign ministries, heads of federal and regional authorities, and key participants of the INNOPROM International Industrial Trade Fair to play a friendly round of golf.

The Tournament speaks a new business "language," offers a comfortable environment for networking, sharing ideas or project presentations, and creates a relaxed atmosphere where it is easier to understand and relate to business partners. In addition to the golf competition, distinguished guests and participants are also treated to an extensive cultural and entertainment program.

The tournament is supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and the Russian Golf Association, and organized by Pine Creek Golf Resort.

For the third year in a row, the Urals world-class golf course Pine Creek Golf Resort receives world-class golf professionals from the European Tour.

Traditionally, professionals come not only to participate in the tournament, but also with an educational mission. For instance, this year the participants of INNOPROM GOLF CHALLENGE have the opportunity to take part in individual or group clinic with the European Tour professionals on a training day on July 6th .

Golf professionals will also pay attention to the development of youth golf. They will hold a master class for Juniors of the Pine Creek's Junior Golf Academy - our future golf professionals and Olympic champions.

On July 7th INNOPROM GOLF CHALLENGE 2019 will be held in 2 Best Ball (Net) format. Each team will be formed from three amateurs and one professional of the European Tour. Each players in the team plays his own ball in stroke play format (until the ball gets in the hole). A team score is the sum of two best scores Net (stroke play) in the team on each hole (including professional's score). The tournament is played as a team competition in a single round of 18 holes. Professionals also compete individually in stroke play format. The prize fund is allocated to the places taken by the professionals players in the final standings, in accordance with the prize table approved by the European Tour.

The tournament has been awarded the European Tour Approved Pro-Am status.
